It's that time of the year and the 50th Annual Easter Surfing Festival will be staged in Cocoa Beach on April 18th – 20th, 2014.
Many have seen it on television or on the internet, read about it in newspapers, magazines, periodicals, and specialty publications, heard about it on radio, or by word of mouth from the tens of thousands, who have come to watch it each year. For over four decades the Easter Surfing Festival has continued to be a major force in the growth of surfing On the East Coast of the United States, It is the second oldest most diverse and publicized event of its type, which is widely recognized and referred to as the East Coast Capitol of Surfing. When choosing to compete in event rating, Surf Fest has won many awards during those years, Continuously finishing in the top ten of the Prestigious "South Eastern Festivals".
Surfing Competitions will include a short board pro/am and a Junior co-ed short board, the co-ed pro/am open, Boy’s 14 and under Short board, the Girl’s under 12 divisions, also the co-ed S.U.P. event. We will award a Distinguished Easter Surfing Championship trophy to all winners (1st – 4th). Spectators will have a chance to learn Surfing and Skim Boarding via on site clinics, participate in celebrity signings, attend an Easter egg hunt, enjoy evening entertainment with movies, Bands, parties, and experience a Sunrise Service at either site.
