Thoughts on a 6'10 thruster?

I'm looking for a mid length board and really don't know what to get. Looking for something versatile that can be taken out in weak waves and on the bigger days. I want something that I can still duck dive and do turns in critical sections with.

I ran this by an older well traveled surfer I know and he recommended a 6'10 thruster. Anybody have experience with a board like this? Or would you recommend something else, maybe a bonzer or something?

I have 6' 10" Webber Afterburner that does a pretty good job in most conditions. I like thrusters myself because of the extra control. I'm a big guy though so on smaller days I swap out to something bigger.

Personally, I favor thrusters since they provide an additional degree of control. On days when I want to look smaller, I switch to something that is larger because I am a big guy
